So it begins. The preparation for Little C’s 1st Birthday!

Making a Confetti wall has been on my DIY shortlist for far too long..  I had originally intended to make it for her room, though I am pleased with the timing as it will be a simple transfer.

My inspiration came from (… drum roll) Pinterest! HA! …which led me to Wee Birdy’s Blog that has the tutorial which even comes complete with a printable circle pattern!  I just so happened to have a circle cutter made by Fiskars laying around and honestly don’t think I would have done this without it. …… wait .. no I probably would have .. but am so glad it was quick and simple.. and I got to use this gadget again.

I literally  just opened the photo from the blog while on the scrapbooking paper aisle at our local craft store and went to town..

At our last trip to IKEA I picked up a cake stand. I feel so mature and domestically achieved to own a cake stand.. it is a very strange and satisfying feeling! They also had these sweet napkins and some coordinating straws.. <3 IKEA.

I am so pleased.. my order for Shop Sweet Lulu hasn’t even arrived yet!

I know I love it so much more than she does..but I still like to imagine how her little toddling self sees it.

I’m so excited to celebrate our cheeky little munchkin!
